Hey everyone, in addition to the default vBulletin forum system, I took the liberty to add a few custom mods I found courtesy of vBulletin.org. They include the following:
Referral Statistics I installed this so people can have an in-depth idea of just who's referring who, and perfect timing being that the forum's just launching. Also, I asked one of my family members to register (and refer me) so it could start working properly (received some PHP invalid function errors w/o at least one user, don't worry about this tidbit though, it's not relevant anymore). You can find the link to this mod on the forum homepage, under the Statistics section of the "What's Going On?" Display Box. Source: e-steki Referrer Statistics - vBulletin.org Forum View Reputation Given This one should be pretty straightforward. In addition to viewing the rep you receive in the UserCP, it will also display the rep you give out to other members, in the same fashion. Source: Display Reputation Comments Given - vBulletin.org Forum Recent Blog Posts This is probably one of the best mods I could've installed, given the purpose behind the forums. Now you can display your most recent blog entry in every forum post you make. Just go to the following: User CP > Edit your Details > Additional Information > Recent Blog Post via RSS Then all you need to do is paste in your blog's RSS feed. It should look something like this (or wherever your blog is located on your site): http://www.site.com/blog/feed/rss/ Source: Latest Blog Feed in Postbit using Carp RSS - vBulletin.org Forum That's all the mods I've installed for now. Hope you enjoy them! |
